Ayurvedic Doctor for Bronchitis Support

Dr. Arjun Bawa’s Approach to Bronchitis & Respiratory Health

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes that carry air to and from the lungs. It may cause persistent cough, mucus production, chest congestion, wheezing, and breathing discomfort. Acute bronchitis is commonly caused by viral infections, while chronic bronchitis is associated with long-term airway irritation, often due to smoking or other environmental exposures.

At Bawa’s Centre of Modern Ayurveda, Dr. Arjun Bawa focuses on respiratory health, individualized dietary guidance, and complementary Ayurvedic support.

Our Approach

1. Supporting Airway Health: Our approach emphasizes respiratory comfort and the management of cough, throat irritation, and mucus congestion through individualized supportive care.

2. Supporting Natural Defences: Traditionally used Ayurvedic herbs and appropriate lifestyle measures may be considered as complementary support. However, evidence that Ayurvedic medicines repair bronchial tissue or cure chronic bronchitis remains limited.

3. Addressing Associated Symptoms: Recurrent cough, cold, sore throat, chest congestion, and digestive complaints such as gas, acidity, or diarrhoea require assessment to identify their underlying causes. Medication-related side effects should be evaluated individually rather than assumed.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At Bawa’s Centre of Modern Ayurveda, our focus is on personalized Ayurvedic supportive care, respiratory well-being, and appropriate medical evaluation.

Important: Persistent or recurrent bronchitis symptoms may require investigation for asthma, pneumonia, or other lung conditions. Prescribed inhalers and other medicines should not be discontinued without medical supervision. Difficulty breathing, bluish lips, or severe chest pain requires urgent medical attention.
